The voice-first Iridium satellite phone — the simplest, most proven way to keep any vessel talking to shore, from the bridge to the open ocean.
The LT-3100 is a maritime fixed Iridium satellite phone built for vessels that need dependable connectivity wherever they sail. Engineered for the professional market — deep-sea vessels, fishing fleets, and workboats — and equally at home on leisure craft, it meets every standard and certification required of worldwide maritime satellite communication equipment.
With voice and data capabilities and 100% global coverage through the Iridium® network, the LT-3100 keeps ship and shore connected. The system pairs a control unit, handset, and antenna unit, linked by a single coaxial cable that allows up to 500 metres of separation — so the antenna can always go where it has the clearest view of the sky.
Run it as your vessel’s primary satellite communications system, or as a crew-calling line or back-up to your main terminal. Voice, SMS, data, vessel tracking, and the full range of Iridium services come with competitive airtime rates, making the LT-3100 a versatile fit on board any vessel.
Built for the demanding reality of life at sea, the LT-3100 operates reliably across a temperature range of –25°C to +55°C. Installation is simple and requires no yearly maintenance: everything you need is in the box. Mount the control unit with a bracket or flush mount, and the antenna on a 1.5″ or 2.0″ pole. The large 4.3″ TFT display gives clear day-and-night operation at a glance, and the built-in webserver makes service and configuration effortless. More than 40 years of engineering experience are built into every unit.
A single standard coaxial cable connects the control unit to the antenna unit — with up to 500 metres of separation. That gives complete freedom to mount the antenna in the best possible location, with a free line of sight to the satellites.
One system covers the essentials: high-quality satellite voice, SMS, Short Burst Data (SBD), and modem data. Everything your vessel needs to stay connected, ship to shore.
Powered by the Iridium® network, the LT-3100 delivers true pole-to-pole global coverage with competitive airtime rates — reliable connectivity on any ocean, in any conditions.
Pair your smartphone for SIP voice and messaging, add external SIP handsets, or connect traditional POTS phones via an adaptor. The LT-3100 fits the way your crew already communicates.
Track your vessel via SBD, SMS, and e-mail, with remote management of tracking settings — so position reporting can be configured and adjusted without touching the unit.
Built-in Web server with user authentication allows easy configuration and maintenance.
