The LT-4200 is a next-generation maritime satellite communications system built on the Iridium Certus® 200 service. Engineered for deep-sea vessels, fishing fleets, workboats, and equally suited for leisure craft, it delivers reliable global connectivity while meeting all international standards and certification requirements for maritime satellite equipment.
Designed to be the primary communications hub on board, the LT-4200 provides 100% global coverage through the Iridium® network. The system combines a control unit, antenna unit, handset, and cradle—linked by a single coaxial cable that allows up to 150 meters of separation. This flexible design ensures the antenna can always be placed in the optimal position with a clear view of the sky.
With three simultaneous high-quality voice channels and IP data speeds of up to 176 kbps up/down, the LT-4200 makes ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore communication seamless. Built to endure the harsh realities of maritime life, it operates reliably in temperatures ranging from –40°C to +55°C, ensuring dependable performance in even the toughest conditions.
Supplied with all essential components, it offers multiple mounting options—bracket or flush for the control unit, and pole mount for the antenna. Once installed, the large 4.3″ TFT display provides clear day and night visibility, while the intuitive interface gives full control at a glance. For service and maintenance, the integrated webserver makes configuration and updates simple and efficient.
Three voice calls can be simultaneously active if they are run on different voice lines. The system can be set up to use one or two voice lines. The voice lines are configurable and can be set up to cover multiple phones.
A single coaxial cable connects the control unit with the antenna unit. Using a standard coaxial cable, up to 150m of separation between the units can be obtained, giving freedom to mount the antenna unit in the best possible location.
The system has built-in IP Data which can reach max speeds of 176 kbps (up) and 176 kbps (down)—allowing easy access to a stable data connection. Data can be set to Always On or Manual Start/Stop for ease of use.
Supports external SIP PABX and SIP handsets. Configure up to 8 external SIP handsets.
